Why is verification of labels important? How much can I be fined?
A: All labels (especially UPC codes) need to conform to a standard. One of the industry standards is "ANSI". All of our verification equipment meet these standards 100 percent. It is important to have a good label in manufacturing, distribution or whatever you application. Poor quality bar code labels lead to problems such as, wrong product being shipped, product shipped to incorrect location and price of product being wrong. Large retailers and the pharmaceutical industry are imposing large fines and may terminate their relationship with vendors who do not label their products with bar code labels that meet the industry standard.
What is the difference between validation and verification of bar code labels?
A: Validation of a label is to make sure that is in sequential order, or that the correct numbers are being used. Verification is making sure that the label you are printing meets "ANSI" standards and will print a quality assured label. We manufacture products that will do both validation and verification.
Can you help me with systems integration?
A: We sure can! Tell us about your application and we will do our best to ensure that you are presented with all the facts you need to make an intelligent decision regarding your bar coding needs.
