About the LVS® 7000 Online Print Quality System:
The LVS® INTEGRA 7000 system is a high speed, user-friendly vision system that will improve the quality inspection process and reduce the related manpower. The system can be mounted on a press, rewinder, conveyor and most other inspection stations.Full verification of bar codes to ISO standards (multiple bar codes in any orientation and symbology, even 2D codes)

The LVS® 7000 Inspects:
Color variance to a standard, blemishes, sequential numbering, OCR/OCV (Read rates up to 1000 characters per second), Shape & Correct Position Analysis, Pattern Matching and if you require a multi task approach you can Mix & Match. All of these inspections can be performed at the same time and at any speed.

Unique Features of the LVS® 7000:
Verification of Bar Codes - Can inspect any combination of linear, matrix and stacked codes including (PDF-417, Micro PDF, Data Matrix, RSS, Composite Codes, among others) to ISO print quality standards. The bar codes can be in any orientation, with any quantity on a label, and as many labels across the web or form as required.

Validation of any combination of linear, matrix and stacked codes - Scan and Confirm accending / decending / fixed - The LVS®-7000 can acheive unlimited speeds (As fast as you can print!)

Label Orientation:
The LVS® 7000 System can handle any ORIENTATION of bar code. LADDER: The bars run horizontal to the flow of the web. PICKET FENCE: The bars run vertical to the flow of the web. (see diagram below)


OCR/OCV - Can read and or verify human readable characters at unparalled speeds at point sizes as low as two printer points. The operator or supervisor can perform rapid training of fixed space fonts.

Defect Detection - Also known as blemish detection. LVS® has designed special algorithms for high speed and accuracy. This algorithm also includes our special “variable data” which accounts for variable data within a pattern-matching zone and does not report them as blemishes. Blemishes as small as 0.002” (inches) are detected at line speed.

Operator Friendly - Once job parameters are set up, they are stored by the system for use at a later date. The LVS®-7000 user-defined setup, allows the operator the flexibility to set a threshold for errors that could then tell the system to stop the press. Password protection keeps this interface safe from unauthorized changes.

Full Reporting - Events inspected are archived in a CSV file format for later reporting by the user in any format desired by use of most database reporting tools.

Automated Roll Inspection Mapping System (RIMS)
(designed for post press operation)

RIMS allows operators to produce their entire job including multiple roll run of labels, track every error on the job, determine at the end of the run if the quality labels meet the job expectations and then run the error changes, splicing and roll fixing in an off-line operation (rewind / slitter device).

Operation is simple - the standard LVS® 7000 is mounted to the press for main production and a simple tracking unit is installed on each of the rewind units. Simply set the unique job name for each roll produced and print the labels - the LVS® 7000 will track all of your errors and record them for later review by RIMS.
