**PRESS RELEASE**
For Immediate Release
March 30,
2005
Label Vision Systems, Inc (LVS) will be displaying several new
products at the INTERPHEX exhibition in New York at the Jacob Javits
Center on April 26-28, 2005.
The LVS
7000 offers the ability to verify both linear barcodes, and 2-D symbols
such as RSS Composite, and Data Matrix to ISO Standards. This analysis can
be done online for items such as blister packs (verifying multiple codes
at one time), and other products in high-speed online production
processes. The LVS 7000 system is the only high-speed print quality
inspection system capable of verifying all of the common linear and 2-D
codes, while simultaneously inspecting for OCR/OCV, blemishes, sequential
number sequences, color deviation (Delta E), and other inspection
processes. Operator set-up is eased by the ability to recall set-ups at a
later date. A set-up matrix allows the operator to establish job
inspection criteria and notification processes. All data is archived and
available for reporting as required by the customer.
The
INTEGRA 9500 is the only UCC Certified verifier to EAN.UCC Standards on
the market today. It performs off-line ISO verification of all major
linear and 2-D code symbologies. The INTEGRA 9500 is a complete,
self-contained, camera-based system, and is capable of auto-discriminating
among all linear and 2-D code symbologies. No additional hardware is
required in order to grade different symbologies. Numerous features are
offered with the system such as the easy-spot feature which pin points the
exact problem area in the code down to the bar and space, and super
imposes the color associated with the grade on the image of the bar code
(eliminating any guess work as to where the problem lies). The INTEGRA
9500 was designed with the end user in mind, and as a result, it is
extremely easy to use. A label is placed in the field of view, and it is
automatically graded. The INTEGRA 9500 exceeds the required ten reads (as
dictated by ISO verification) eliminating the possibility of error
associated with a user manually taking multiple scans of the code. The
INTEGRA 9500 (like the LVS 7000) can verify multiple codes at one time,
reducing the amount of time it takes to grade a large number of
symbols.
The
INTEGRA 9500 AXR (auxiliary reader) has the ability to read large codes or
bar codes directly marked on an object. It is attached to the INTEGRA 9500
by a USB connection so the results are displayed on the LCD of the INTEGRA
9500. All of the same analytical abilities and other features are at your
disposal.
The LVS
9800 is an automated inserts and outserts counting system. The LVS 9800
system counts individual rows as well as container totals for
unquestionable accuracy and greater accountability. If you use bar codes
to identify "the serts", they can be checked to determine if all of the
bar codes are the same in the carton. If you use color to determine "the
serts" identity, the LVS 9800 can also validate the color
coding.
